Contributions to the “Waive the Fee” Fund / Sponsoring Organizations

One important goal of the conference is to support the attendance of delegates from developing countries, who have abstracts of merit selected by the scientific and steering committee, but whose participation is hindered by financial limitations. In lieu of traditional conference sponsorships, supporting organizations were requested to consider a financial contribution toward the “waive the fee fund”, which is being managed through a specific funded bank account for that matter.

We are therefore deeply indebted to the following organizations which provided financial support for the above mentioned “waive the fee fund” to enable some conference presenters from less wealthy countries to attend the conference.

Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools International

Firstly the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS), Inc., who not only sponsored the conference “waive the fee fund” financially, but acted also as a leading organizational sponsor including visa support (informational center) as well serving on the planning and coordinating committees and serving as an abstract reviewer.

The Mandt System

Next to be mentioned is The Mandt System, which is a comprehensive, integrated approach to preventing, de-escalating, and if necessary, intervening when the behaviour of an individual poses a threat of harm to themselves and/or others. The Mandt system also contributed financially to the “waive the fee fund”, but will also provide the conference with laptops and projectors, and served on the local organization committee.

The Jackson Behavioral Health Hospital

The Jackson Behavioral Health Hospital generously will provide pens and writing pads for the conference.
