Language
The official languages are English and German. Simultaneous translation will be provided in English and German for all plenary sessions in the main hall.

The Social-Medical-Center Baumgartner Höhe Otto Wagner Hospital with Charity-Unit in its present day form was founded on August 1st 2000. However, the institution dates back from 1904. It was built between 1904 and 1907 as the lower Austrian federal county charity for people with nervous and mental diseases “Am Steinhof”, and was one of the most modern and biggest institutions of that kind in Europe. It is built in a “Pavillion-System” and it got its final form by the famous Austrian architect Otto Wagner. The church of the institution “The church of St. Leopold” is the main example of the Viennese Art Deco Style, and a visit to this church is therefore part of the program
Das Sozialmedizinische Zentrum Baumgartner Höhe Otto Wagner Spital mit Pflegezentrum in seiner gegenwärtigen Form wurde am 1. August 2000 gegründet. Die neue Institution ist in einem Areal angesiedelt, das 1904-1907 als Niederösterreichische Landes- Heil- und Pflegeanstalt für Nerven- und Geisteskranke “Am Steinhof” errichtet wurde, in ihren frühen Tagen eine der modernsten und größten derartigen Institutionen in Europa. Sie wurde als “Pavillon-System” errichtet und wurde von der Planungsabteilung der Niederösterreichischen Landesregierung geplant. Die endgültige Form erhielt sie vom bedeutenden österreichischen Architekten Otto Wagner, der auch die Anstaltskirche “Zum Heiligen Leopold” errichtete, ein Hauptwerk des Wiener Jugendstils.

The Otto Wagner Hospital can easily be reached with the public transport by taking the U-Bahn 3 till Ottakring, and then bus 48 A till Baumgartner Höhe, or the U 4 till Unter St. Veit and then bus 47 A till Baumgartner Höhe / Psychiatrisches Krankenhaus. It takes about 45 minutes from the centre of Vienna to the Otto Wagner Hospital
