Visa

It might be that you need to apply for a temporary resident visa to visit Canada. Check for that matter the list of countries and territories that require a visa (www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/visas.asp). This application is for people who need a temporary resident visa (TRV) (www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/visa.asp) to visit Canada for a temporary purpose such as tourism, visiting family or friends, business trips, or attending a conference.

Visa Letter Requests: if you need a letter confirming your conference registration to help facilitate your efforts in obtaining a visa, we can provide a confirmation letter once you have registered for the conference and after the payment has been processed. Once you meet these two requirements, please e-mail Oud Consultancy with your full name and registration confirmation number, and the address of the concerning embassy in your country. Let us also know if you are a presenter as well. Your request will be processed as soon as possible, and once your information is verified, the confirmation letter for your visa application will be e-mailed to you. Requests for mailed letters will be reviewed, and additional fees may apply. The confirmation letter does not guarantee you will receive a visa. Confirmation letters will only state the conference title, dates, location, payment confirmation of registration fees and that you are a presenter if applicable. Participants are advised to apply for a visa as early as possible.

Vancouver

Vancouver is the largest city in the province of British Columbia with over half a million residents and one of the mildest climates in Canada. Home to spectacular natural scenery and a bustling metropolitan core, Vancouver was Host City to the Olympic and Paraympic Winter Games in 2010. Whether just relaxing in a park or bike riding around the seawall, there is always something to do in Vancouver, like the 3rd International conference on violence in the health sector.

Tourism Richmond will have a booth setup at the conference during registration to help you make plans during your stay: www.richmondtourism.com
